Mouse Functions

Mouse Functions:
Double Click changed to Single Click.

There are many changes that can be made to mouse functions in the control panel.  One area that can be very difficult is the need to "double click" to open an icon (left click) on the desktop or links on the internet.  This is typically only a problem for Windows operating systems as Macintosh does not require double click (for the most part anyway).

Any Windows operating system can be made for "single click" only.  This can be done under "folder options".

You can choose single click to open.  When this is chosen, the user no longer has to double click.  Also, the pointer turns into a "pointed finger" when it is in a "clickable zone" for the icon.  This provides a visual cues for the individual that it is "ok to click now".
